Laszlo was a man who was very interested in bitcoins since its early times. He wanted to do a real world purchase by bitcoins. He convinced another man who was also a user of bitcoin to buy him 2 papa John's pizza which cost about $25 but in return of this he agreed to pay 10,000 bitcoins.
If we consider 1 bitcoin of $6,000 at present rates, then 10,000 bitcoins will be of $60 million.
So those 2 pizza will cost $60 million today.
The guy who bought two pizzas with 10,000 Bitcoin back in 2010 to prove the digital currency worked. Now he’s at it again.
This time, early Bitcoin developer Laszlo Hanyecz wanted to test the Lightning Network, a technology that runs parallel to a blockchain like Bitcoin’s network and aims to speed up transactions. He ended up paying 0.00649 Bitcoin for two pizzas, or $67, and the transaction cost about 6 U.S. cents.
